Packing a whole house into a single Saturday, with kids, a job, and a closing date that keeps moving, is the part that breaks people. A Velox container fixes that one thing: it sits in your driveway as long as you need, and you fill it a room at a time.

Built for the moves that don’t go to plan
Between closing dates. Your old house closes Friday and the new one on the 20th. Load the container, we hold it at our yard, and it arrives the morning you get the keys.
Building a new home. Builders run late. Store everything with us for as many months as it takes, then one delivery to the new house. See storage while building a home.
Downsizing. Sort at your own pace instead of deciding what to keep under a truck’s deadline.
One-way moves. Northern Utah to St. George is a route we run regularly. Load up north, we haul it south, with no return-pickup fee.
Winter moves. If you have a big garage, we can set the container inside so you load warm and dry.
How big is one container?
One Velox container is 8 ft wide and 16 ft long, with about 800 cubic feet of space inside, all welded steel. That usually holds a 1,500 sq ft home, or two to three bedrooms, depending on how much furniture you have and how long you’ve lived there. Fill one first, and order a second only if you need it. Moving questions we hear most
Do I need a permit to put a container in my driveway?
Usually not on your own driveway. Rules vary by city and HOA, and most cities only act on a complaint. Orem doesn’t allow containers on residential lots, so for Orem moves we plan a short load window and yard storage. See our Utah County permit guide.
What can’t go in the container?
Nothing hazardous, flammable or perishable: gasoline, propane, fireworks, ammo, chemicals, or fueled equipment. Keep documents, cash, jewelry, medications and anything irreplaceable with you.
Is my stuff insured?
Not automatically. Check your homeowners or renters policy first. We also offer third-party coverage for theft, fire, flood and transport damage.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes. Any padlock works, or grab one from us at hardware-store price.
Can I reschedule?
Yes. Call or text. It’s fine unless the truck is already on its way.
How soon can you deliver?
Next-day is usually possible, and same-day occasionally. Book early for Fridays, month-end, and late May through mid-August.
