Portable Storage Containers in Weber County
Ogden anchors this county, and it is where most of our Weber work lands. West Haven and Farr West are the two areas we have watched grow fastest — a lot of new building out that way.
Weber is the furthest regular run we make, so the people who call us here usually have a reason the container is the right tool rather than just a convenient one.
Old Ogden streets versus the open west side
West of I-15 is wide open — fields, generous lots, straightforward placements. Those are some of the easiest deliveries we do anywhere.
The older parts of Ogden are the opposite. Narrow streets, tight older neighbourhoods, and placements that need thinking about before the truck arrives. We can still do them; they just take a conversation first.

Mostly trades, flooring and moves heading south
Three kinds of job make up most of what we deliver in Weber County: construction sites, epoxy flooring contractors who need somewhere to put a household while a floor cures, and families moving down to Salt Lake or Utah County who want to pack over weeks rather than days.
If you are doing one of those three things up here, we have almost certainly done your job before.
Our longest-running container
The customer who has had one of our units the longest lives in Ogden.
It started as a restoration job — a container on site while the house was put back together. He liked having it enough that he kept it when the work finished, and it has been there for years now. That was not the plan when we dropped it off.
What people use a container for in Weber County
Weber County is our longest regular run in Utah, so the jobs we get here tend to be ones where a container clearly beats the alternatives.
Construction and job sites. The new subdivisions in West Haven, Farr West, Plain City and Hooper need somewhere lockable for tools and materials, and a steel container on the pad is the simplest answer.
Epoxy and flooring jobs. Flooring contractors in the Ogden area send us a lot of work. A whole household comes out for the days a floor takes to cure, goes into a container in the driveway, and comes back in when the contractor says so.
Moves south along the Wasatch Front. Families leaving Ogden, Roy or North Ogden for Davis, Salt Lake or Utah County load at their own pace over a couple of weeks, and we deliver the unit to the new address when they are ready.
Restorations in old Ogden. The historic neighborhoods around 25th Street, the east bench and the older blocks of Ogden have homes that need real work. A container on site for the length of a restoration keeps the contents safe without a second move to a storage unit.
Delivery day in Weber County
We come up I-15 from Utah County on our own truck. West of the freeway, placements are easy: wide lots, straight driveways, room to turn. In the older parts of Ogden we want a photo of the frontage first, because narrow streets, mature trees and tight driveways can decide where the unit can go. We need a level spot roughly a car and a half long with nothing low overhead.
If the unit has to sit on a public street, that is a question for the city — Ogden, Roy, Riverdale and the others each set their own rule. On your own driveway or property there is normally nothing to file. If placement is not possible at all, we store the loaded unit at our gated yard and bring it back when the work is done.
Where we deliver in Weber County
Ogden: The heart of the county and most of our Weber work. The historic east bench and the blocks around 25th Street need a placement conversation; the newer areas do not.
The north end: North Ogden, Pleasant View, Harrisville and Farr West, a mix of older homes below Ben Lomond and new subdivisions out west.
The west side: West Haven, Hooper, Plain City, Marriott-Slaterville and Roy, where the lots are wide, the driveways are straight and the deliveries are among the easiest we do.
South Weber and Riverdale: On the Davis line and, for our trucks, the shortest Weber County run.
All of Weber County is one flat move fee. The fee is higher than it is further south because of the distance, but the monthly rate on the container does not change.
Weber County storage FAQ
How far ahead should I book in Weber County?
Give us as much notice as you can, ideally a week. Weber is 80 to 100 miles from our yard, so we plan these runs carefully and group deliveries where we can. Call 801-362-9978 to get on the schedule.
Why is the move fee higher in Weber County?
Because of distance. The move fee is a flat amount per county in Utah, and Weber is our farthest county. The monthly rate on the container itself is exactly the same as it is anywhere else we serve.
Can I keep the container for a long time?
As long as you like. Our longest-running rental is in Ogden and has been going for years. The unit is month to month with no long-term contract.
Do you deliver to job sites and commercial addresses?
Yes. Contractors in West Haven, Farr West and across the new subdivisions use our containers for tools and materials. We need a level pad and a clear approach for the truck.
Can you move my loaded container from Ogden to Salt Lake or Utah County?
Yes. That is one of the most common jobs we do up here. Load at your pace in Weber County, and we haul the unit to the new address when you are ready. Our Utah trucks stay inside Utah.
Do you deliver to North Ogden and Pleasant View?
Yes. Both are inside the Weber County flat move fee. Homes below the mountain there can have steeper driveways, so a photo of the approach helps us plan the placement.

Weber is 80 to 100 miles out from our lot, so the transportation fee is higher than it would be further south — but the monthly cost of the container is exactly the same as anywhere else we serve. Send us the address and we will give you both numbers up front.
