Portable Storage Containers in Sandy, Utah

Sandy is two very different drives for us. A house near the freeway is a couple of minutes off I-15; a house up on the east bench is another twenty minutes of climbing toward the mountain. Both are the same flat Salt Lake County rate. Most of our Sandy deliveries go up the hill; the commercial jobs are usually down near South Towne.

Who calls us from Sandy

• Families moving. Sandy to Draper, Sandy to a bigger place across town, or out to Lehi. Load over a week or two while the kids are at school.
• Flood and water-damage restoration. There’s been a lot of it in Sandy lately. Restoration crews need a locked, dry container in the driveway the same day, and sometimes we can do that.
• Commercial work near South Towne and along State Street: inventory, fixtures, tools between phases.
• Remodels on the bench. Older homes near Dimple Dell getting kitchens and basements.

The fastest delivery we’ve ever done

We’d just picked up an empty container in Sandy when a restoration company called asking how fast we could get one to a flooded house. They were five minutes away. The phone call took longer than the delivery. We can’t do that every time — but if you’re a restoration contractor in Sandy, it’s worth calling before you assume it’ll be tomorrow.

Delivering in Sandy

Driveways on the east bench can be steep, and the mature trees on the older streets mean we watch for low branches over the driveway. Neither stops us; we just move a loaded unit slowly on a hill and pick the spot with you. Text a photo of where you’d like it and we’ll confirm before the day. If you’re near the mountain, mention it — it changes how long the drive takes more than you’d think.

Sandy storage questions

How fast can you get a container to Sandy?

Usually next day. Same day happens when a truck is already in the valley, especially for restoration jobs. Call and ask.

My driveway is steep. Is that a problem?

No. We take loaded units slowly on hills. Tell us when you book so the driver plans the approach.

Do you work with restoration companies?

Yes, a lot. Call to set up a direct line for your crew. Loaded moves get priority over empty deliveries.

Can the container sit on the street?

Your driveway is always easier. In the street, check with Sandy City first; most cities only act on a complaint, and a permit usually solves it.

Do I have to be home for delivery?

No, if the placement instructions are clear. The driver texts or calls before arrival.
