Portable Storage Containers in Herriman, Utah

Storage pods for new builds and young families on the west bench
Herriman is new houses and young families, and that combination keeps us busy: builds that finish late, move-ins that need a week to unpack, garages that fill up before the boxes are gone. Our Utah County yard is about an hour away and Salt Lake County is one flat rate, so the drive isn’t on your bill.
Delivering in Herriman
Two things are worth knowing. First, some spots up Rose Canyon are hard: steep, tight, and a long way from the main road. We’ve delivered up there, we just go slowly. Second, Herriman has a lot of streets so new they aren’t on the map yet. When you book, text us a dropped pin or a quick photo of the spot — it saves the driver a lap around the subdivision. Traffic on Herriman’s main roads is busy at commute time, so we schedule around it.
Who calls us from Herriman
- New builds. The old house closes, the new one isn’t done. We load, hold the unit at our yard, and deliver it the day you have keys.
- Young families moving up from a townhome to a house with a yard, often just a few streets away.
- Storage while you settle in. A container in the driveway for a month while the garage gets organized.
The HOA and the backyard
A Herriman customer was using a container for storage and his HOA told him to get rid of it. He wanted the storage, so he had us move it behind the house where it couldn’t be seen from the street. Problem solved on both sides. HOAs vary a lot in Herriman: if yours has rules about visible containers, ask us about placement behind the house or at our yard.
Things people have asked us to move
One Herriman customer asked our driver if she could put her horse in the container and have us move it. Then she tried to bribe him. The answer was no — it would be dangerous for the animal — but it’s a fair question about what does go in one. Furniture, boxes, tools, appliances, food storage, yes. Anything alive, anything flammable (gas, propane, fireworks, ammo), and anything perishable, no.
Container and cost
The container: 8 × 16 feet, about 800 cubic feet inside, up to 7,500 pounds, welded steel with gasketed doors and E-track. One fits a standard driveway; a large new build usually takes two. Herriman is flat-rate Salt Lake County, so your quote is about containers, months, moves and add-ons, nothing else. No deposit, one-month minimum, and the rate doesn’t change after month one. Herriman storage questions
How fast can you deliver to Herriman?
Usually within a day or two. Book ahead for month-end and summer, when the whole west side moves at once.
Can you deliver up Rose Canyon?
Yes. It’s slow going in spots, so give us a few extra minutes of delivery window and tell us about the driveway.
My street isn’t on the map yet.
Text a pin or a photo of the spot. Our drivers find it.
Can I keep a container for storage long-term?
Yes. Month to month, same rate. If your HOA has rules about visible containers, we can place it behind the house or hold it at our yard.
What can’t go in the container?
Anything hazardous or flammable, anything perishable, and anything alive. Keep documents, cash, jewelry and medications with you.
