Portable Storage Containers in Lehi, Utah

There’s almost always a Velox container somewhere up on Traverse Mountain, and usually a few more scattered across the newer subdivisions west of I-15. Lehi is one of the busiest cities we serve, and our Pleasant Grove yard is about fifteen minutes away, so a storage pod can be in your driveway the next day most of the time.
Who moves to Lehi, and why they call us
A lot of our Lehi customers are coming down from Salt Lake: they work in tech or another white-collar job, they want to be close to the office along the corridor, and they want out of the big city. Lehi gives them that. What they don’t have is a free weekend, so a container that sits in the driveway for a week or two while they pack in the evenings is the whole appeal.
- Waiting on a build. Most new-home builds in Lehi run three to six months. If you’re building it yourself, plan on a year or more. Either way the old house closes first. We load at the old place, hold the container at our yard, and deliver it the day you get keys.
- Relocations from Salt Lake. Load in the city over a week; we set it down in Lehi.
- Moves within Lehi. Holbrook Farms to Traverse Mountain, or across town to a bigger place.
- Businesses and startups near Thanksgiving Point and the outlets that need a locked room for equipment and inventory as they grow.
Delivering in Lehi means finding a new route
Lehi always has construction somewhere — a road closed, a lane shifted, a new signal going in. Our drivers know the city well enough to work around it, but it’s the one place we’ll ask for a few extra minutes of delivery window. New subdivisions also mean streets that aren’t on the map yet, so when you book, a dropped pin or a quick text of the spot helps.
One rule to know: Lehi allows a container on your own driveway, but not in the street without a traffic-control plan. Almost everyone puts it on the driveway. If yours won’t work, we’ll load at your door and hold the unit at our yard. Details in our Utah County permit guide.
The Lehi move that found us a real estate agent
A real estate agent moving to a new home in Lehi used our containers for his own move. We got along well enough that when it came time to sell our first house, he was the agent we called. That’s a very Utah County story: the people you deliver to end up being the people you work with.
Sizing a Lehi move
Most Lehi homes fit in one 8×16 container (about 800 cubic feet inside, up to 7,500 lb); the bigger Traverse Mountain houses take two. Fill one first, call for the second if you need it — the yard is fifteen minutes away. The unit is steel, sealed against weather, and sits in about one parking stall. Details in the size guide.
Pricing for Lehi
Flat Utah County rate, no distance charge. The variables: containers, months, moves, and add-ons like a lock or coverage. No deposit. One-month minimum. Your rate is locked for as long as you keep the unit, whether the build takes three months or fourteen. Holding a loaded container at our yard costs nothing beyond the moves in and out.
Lehi storage questions
How long can I keep a container while my Lehi house is being built?
As long as the build takes. One-month minimum, month to month after that, same rate every month. Three to six months is typical; owner-builds run longer and that’s fine.
Can you deliver to Traverse Mountain?
Yes, we’re up there constantly. The hills just mean we move a loaded unit slowly. Tell us it’s steep when you book.
My new subdivision isn’t on Google Maps yet.
Text us a pin or a photo of the spot. Our drivers know the new areas better than the map does.
We’re moving from Salt Lake to Lehi. Is that one move?
Yes: we set the container in Salt Lake, you load it, and we deliver it loaded to Lehi. Salt Lake County and Utah County are both flat-rate for us.
Is the container OK with a new-subdivision HOA?
Usually, for a move. HOAs vary, so check yours. If placement is a problem, we hold the loaded unit at our yard for no extra monthly cost.
