Portable Storage Containers in Springville, Utah

Our main yard is at 1545 S 1700 W in Springville, which makes this the shortest delivery we run. If you’re moving into Springville, out of it, or across it, a Velox storage pod can usually be in your driveway the same day you call, and next day almost always.

The yard that used to be in Provo

For years our lot was in Provo. The Springville yard is a big upgrade: safer, nicer, no weeds to fight all summer, and closer to home for me and for our drivers. It’s also gated, so if you need to store a loaded container instead of keeping it in your driveway, this is where it sits — and it adds nothing to your monthly rate. Visits are by appointment; call or text and someone meets you at the gate.

One practical note for anyone coming to the yard: the new South Springville exit at Dry Creek Parkway was badly needed. The old exits used to back up every afternoon. Take the new one.

Who calls us from Springville

Springville isn’t building a lot of new homes, so our calls here are mostly people moving in and moving out. When Springville families move out, they usually don’t go far: Mapleton and Salem are the two most common destinations we haul to. That’s a fifteen-minute move, which is the kind that makes a rental truck feel silly. We set the container, you load it over a week or two, we move it once.

  • Moves within town and to Mapleton, Salem, Spanish Fork and Provo.
  • Remodels of the older homes downtown and near Main Street.
  • Hobble Creek and acreage. Tools, tack and seasonal gear beside the shop or barn.

“That’s everything we own in there”

One of my first jobs, back when I did every delivery myself, was a young couple in Springville with three red-headed kids. I loaded their container onto the truck and the mom said, “Please be careful. That’s everything we own in that unit.” I’ve thought about that on every loaded move since. It’s why we go slow on hills, strap everything, and treat a container full of somebody’s life like exactly that.

The container

All of ours are the same: 8×16 feet, about 800 cubic feet inside, 7,500-pound capacity, steel with sealed doors and tie-down track. One holds roughly a 1,500 sq ft home. Because the yard is in town, a second container is a ten-minute decision, not a day’s wait. Size guide.

Springville pricing

Springville, Mapleton, Salem and all of Utah County are one flat rate. The quote depends on containers, months, moves, and add-ons (lock, third-party coverage). No deposit, one-month minimum, rate never rises, and storing a loaded unit at our yard adds nothing to the monthly cost.

Springville storage questions

How fast can you deliver in Springville?

Often the same day, and next day almost always. The yard is in town.

Can I visit my stored container at the yard?

Yes, by appointment. Call or text ahead; the lot is gated, so someone meets you and locks up after. Keep visits short.

We’re moving to Mapleton. Is that one move?

Yes. We pick up the loaded container here and set it down in Mapleton the same day. Same flat rate.

Do I need a permit?

Not on your own driveway. In the street, check with Springville City first. Our Utah County permit guide covers every city.

Can you set the container by my barn?

Yes, if the ground is firm and level and a truck can reach it.
