What to Do First When You Need Storage Fast
Text us a photo of the spot. A quick picture of the driveway, street or parking area is the fastest way to confirm the container will fit and to get it on the schedule. The container needs about one parking stall, and the truck never leaves the road; a machine lifts the unit off and sets it where you point. Clear the landing zone. Move cars, watch for low branches, and check for overhead wires. If the driveway is blocked by restoration equipment or a dumpster, the street usually works; most Utah cities only act on a complaint, and a permit normally resolves it.
You don’t have to be home. If the placement instructions are clear, the driver calls or texts before arrival and sets the container without you. Be there only if the spot is tight or unusual.

Can the container go on the street if my driveway is blocked?
Often, yes. Most Utah cities only act if a neighbor complains, and a permit usually resolves it. HOAs vary, so check your rules. If street placement is not an option, we can store the loaded container at our gated yard with nothing extra added to the monthly rate.
Will my insurance cover what’s in the container?
Velox doesn’t insure contents, but coverage is required. Check your homeowners or renters policy first, especially if the loss is already an insurance claim, and send us proof within 5 business days of delivery. If it doesn’t cover you, we’ll enroll you in our contents protection plan, with coverage up to $20,000 for causes like theft, fire, smoke and windstorm. Flood is not covered. A lock is not included, so bring your own padlock or buy one from us at hardware-store price.
Do I have to be home for the delivery?
